...I'm just disappointed that so few people came to the last poetry slam.
Despite that, I'm going to try to do another one. Time TBD, so does anyone have any suggestions?

THE POETRY SLAM WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, AT 9:00 PM EASTERN TIME. I remain optimistic. COME!
Alright, so here's the run-down for all of you who may be puzzled about this poetry slam business:
The poetry slam is an event in which YOU come over to the Prancing Pony and do as many as you like of the following things.
a) read us your poetry - exclusive or - judge poetry
b) listen to poetry
c) eat food, drink
d) strip (this IS a strip joint, after all)
e) watch others strip
f) generally fraternize
g) sing songs
h) have fun
i) stay the night in one of our quality rooms
Not necessarily in that order.
People show up. They post poems, long and short, good and bad, IC and OOC. If we can get anybody to judge, they rank the poems on a scale of 0 to 10 with one point allowed after the decimal, and then we determine a winner. More often than not, nobody wants to judge, so we just enjoy the poetry.
And stay as many days as we may like.
And the wonderful place that is the Prancing Pony inn, tavern, and strip joint.
Ahhhh.

Alright, they're ordered. That's yellow polka-dotted curtains for the human-sized rooms and neon pink for the hobbit-sized rooms. The pink ones are to scare away ringwraiths, but we'll keep the old beige ones in stock if any hobbit is more scared of pink curtains than of ringwraiths.
Now... bedsheets...

I'm thinking of getting these new yellow polka-dotted curtains out of this catalogue for all my human-sized rooms. Opinions?
